Take the music styles that four music lovers could have listened for three decades. Consume it with delight and them, without letting it cool down, chew it well. And, finally regurgitate it properly seasoned with an enormous respect for traditional musical culture. Take all this as a base, but taking before the anti-inbreeding pill. And be clear about the fact that if someone “pisses on us”, we don't give a shit about them. What you are holding in yours hands is the first record of Ophiusa, in which we can perceive the Galician essences; but you can also recognize scents of swing, reggae and bluegrass, all of them popular music: folk music.

So, Ophiusa is a mirror where the popular and town culture is reflected an where, really, life is shelled as0 a corncob. Besides, the disc to that these listening is a plot, a catharsis. We call ourselves to account in order to perpetuate our noteworthiest and most beautiful memories. It's an excuse to depict through music our first love who played on the swings while we planned how to get closer to her. It's a tribute to the feeling that overpowered us spinning tops in autumn and to the snacks after coming back from school. In shorT, it's a tribute to all people and things that turned us into what we are now. To everybody.
